People of Deerwater
John Hart, innkeeper
A malnourished-looking man, wearing a large white coat. Brown, long hair. Brown eyes. Yellowed, uneven teeth. He mostly agrees only with himself, unless someone else's opinion sounds like something he could benefit from. He tries to restrain his hot temper, but can't always stop himself when he feels something needs to get done. He'd rather withdraw to his hobbies than work with others.
Gilbert Alfonso, smith
He has beautiful, tanned skin. He wears layered garments, but they're in somewhat poor condition. His hair is reddish and curly, of normal length. He seems like he hasn't slept in days. Gilbert is used to having been quite popular among the village women when he was younger, but now has to get used to the fact that time has passed him by a bit. Desires power.
Jocelm Segret, apothecary
A bony man, clearly needing some meat around his bones. He wears a black-and-red robe, narrow trousers. His hair is short and white, his face ruddy. Jocelm is an extremely bitter person. He berates and blames others for his own problems. Desires good night's sleep.
Landald Evans
A medium-height, average-build man. He nevertheless carries himself vigorously and tries to seem bigger than he is. He has a blue coat, a black cloak, and a mantle finely sewn onto the cloak. Red hair. He's somewhat aggressive and is usually high from substance abuse (which he does secretly). Money motivates him greatly. Tries to get others to do his work cheaply. Negotiates over everything. Persistent.
Aldous Hartonso
A fat, tall man, who usually has a stupid grin on his face. He often wears pastel-colored clothing and a colorful cloak. His brown hair is careless and dirty. His brown eyes are lively. Quiet and modest, barely notices others. He has a bone to pick with the church.
Adelina Dmitris, jeweler
She often wears a large hat that casts a shadow over her face. She also wears a large poncho that covers her body. She is, however, in extremely good shape, very strong especially in her arms. She has long, fair hair in a ponytail. Fair skin. She's very matter-of-fact, takes things seriously. Careful. She startles very easily, though. Likes stories.
Gerebolas Jordan
He usually wears a perfectly clean fair shirt and trousers. Many different pouches (empty) hang from his belt. Large walrus mustache, brown curly hair, brown eyes. A cheerful twinkle in the corners of his eyes. He has much sympathy for visitors. He gladly listens to travelers' stories and offers them drinks. He tries to repay kindness with kindness given the chance.
Nicholas Osav, merchant
A plump, cheerful man. Believes people live their lives to the end too quickly. His dark side is that he's an extremely bloodthirsty madman when the mood takes him, and won't stop at anything until his strength runs out. Dresses in collared shirts and keeps a scarf on his head. His hair is curly reddish and medium-length. His eyes are hazel. Desires redemption.
Henrar Hart
A giant slab of meat of a man. He wears only a grayish robe. Long, fair hair, usually in a ponytail. Fair eyes. He's usually an extremely cheerful, good-natured man with enormous energy. Somewhat simple, though. He's a bit aggressive in his goals, but a coward if a wrench is thrown in his works.
Margery Jorrows
A somewhat eastern-looking woman, extremely tall for a woman. Muscular. Brown, thick long hair, brown eyes. She speaks calmly but ceaselessly. Likes the sound of her own voice. Lazy, selfish, vain, and envious. Believes the world revolves around her.
Jocelyn Malcolms
An extremely grim-looking, tall man. A touch over 2 meters, surely the tallest man in the village. He wears brownish clothing down to his cloak, and leather gloves. His hair is dark brown, but with clear gray streaks. Brown eyes. Jocelyn likes to be the center of attention. He's willing to do almost anything to get attention. He loves tea. He's extremely sensitive about his face. He does a lot of work to ease his explosive temper.
