Rudi

Previously outlined. Rudolf is an amateur-ish actor, loosely affiliated with some local acting troupe (in this he's perhaps been helped by his unusually pleasant baritone voice, which is in no way connected to his appearance (which is fairly ordinary), but which lends him "charisma"). Rudolf's advantage in acting work is also his exceptional agility [Dex = 18 + 1], so he commands his body's movements with confidence, including in a choreographic sense. As an actor, however, he's rather one-note and serious. He likes martial roles, especially portraying history's great war leaders. He has hardly any musical talent [musical instruments = none], but instead he's fairly skilled at perceiving and rendering buildings, and remembers their details even afterward [Tools = Painter's supplies]. Perhaps he currently supports himself by selling these drawings…

• Life in Waterdeep is growing too dull, and news from the Silver Marches is of interest, talk of war? A caravan -> traveling to Silverymoon. In fact, Rudolf is only now getting to claim the rest of his father's inheritance, and is on his way to Everlund to settle accounts.

1295 - Johann Schicklgruber, Rudolf's father, is born in Everlund

1302 - Neverwinter mercenary general Gulgathas conquers the northern city of Illusk from an orc tribe called the Bloody Tusks, and the city gets a new name, Luskan. The city is rebuilt by the Neverwinter merchant Urbalos.

1310 - A great pirate fleet from the sea conquers Luskan.

1316 - Clarimonde Spirre, Rudolf's mother, is born in Everlund.

1325 - The rulers of the northern city-states form a loose mutual alliance, which the citizens call the Lord's Alliance.

1333 - The Great Amnian Trade War, which united the realm of Amn.

1340 - Johann and Clarimonde marry in Everlund.

1341 - Silas, Rudolf's brother, is born.

1343 - Alric, Rudolf's brother, is born. The last great migration of orcs in the north, which ended bloodily at the gates of Silverymoon.

1344 - Patric is born, but dies shortly after birth.

1347 - Silas & Alric die of diphtheria over the winter.

1350 - Rudolf is born in Everlund.

1351 - Aliza, Rudolf's sister, is born in Everlund.

1352 - The family moves from Everlund to Waterdeep. Trovion Blackwood is left to manage Johann's family estate.

1358 - Stories of unexplained natural phenomena travel across the north. Rudolf has an unusually powerful vision in a dream, after which his bardic gifts emerge. He had visions earlier in his childhood too, but this remains, for now, the last one.

1364 - A forgery scandal. Johann dies. Connas Thaller, a famous actor, takes Rudolf under his wing. Aliza moves to Everlund, to Clarimonde's sister Hildberga's. Rudolf's roommate is Helbert, from Luskan.

1365 - Clarimonde dies.

1366 - Present day.
