High Hold

A large old fortress atop a tall stone hill, with a good view south to the Evermoor as well as east and west along the Rauvin Road and also north to Moonwood. The fortress's roof is tall and steep, and at its peak rise beautiful wooden statues depicting a howling wolf.

From the Rauvin Road a branch leads, winding up along the hillside all the way to the fortress gate. Over the course of history, a small village has grown up at the road junction, home mainly to the castle's servants and families.

The fortress has traditionally been ruled by the eldest son of Silverymoon's Grand Duke, for as long as the Grand Duke himself is still alive. The castle is currently ruled by Artin Tempest, Frederik Tempest's eldest son.
