Chief of the Sky Pony tribe (clan).

He is already ill, but still extremely strong-willed. Since the death of his son Torlin, he has become even more withdrawn and spends his time mostly in his lodge. He often has fits of rage, since he feels he's already very limited. When needed, he can still use his sword with great lethality. Tribal matters are handled mainly by Maben, Jerek's aide, whose advice he trusts above all else.
