Nether Mountains

The Nether Mountains are a tall, dark east-west mountain range along the southern edge of the Silver Marches. The range is divided into an eastern and western part on either side of the Rauvin River. The range includes four known peaks: Dalagar's Dagger, Ladypeak, Ieldroun, and Thorog.

Three known passes run through the range: the Everlund Pass from Everlund to Silverymoon, the Silverymoon Pass between Silverymoon and Sundabar, and the Moon Pass, which is the route between Everlund and Sundabar.

The mountainous region generally grows more dangerous the further and higher one travels from civilization. Either the weather turns extremely cold, or the area is home to dangerous monsters.

For the daring, the mountains offer the chance to find new gold, silver, and copper mines.
