Stanlow

Stanlow is a small, isolated village at the western end of Brokenstone Valley, right on the borderlands of Cyran's realm. The village is nearly entirely self-sufficient. It's surrounded by a dense palisade wall with only one gate. The villagers have lived in isolation longer than they can remember, and fear Cyran and his wolves more than anything else. At the village's eastern end rises a tall, steep hill, atop which stands the old Draydon Monastery. The Abbot resides at the monastery, whom the villagers avoid as best they can. At the village's north end is a pond, from which the village gets its fresh water.

From a distance, the village resembles a dense forest, with houses built in among the trees. The trees keep the houses warm and also provide food for the villagers' livestock: sheep, pigs, rabbits, small piglets, cows. The villagers also grow vegetables in their gardens.

The village's leader is Dmitri Krezkov, and his family has ruled the village for ages.
