Joane Seabrook
Nerinoa's biological mother. Poor. Born in 1322, making her now about 45 years old. Had Nerinoa at 22, but living alone and nearly penniless, she was forced to give Nerinoa to an orphanage in Everlund when the child was about two years old.
She knows only a little about Nerinoa's father. Joane was gathering herbs at the edge of the High Forest when she unexpectedly came across the most handsome, most striking man she had ever met, as he was swimming in a small stream. His long platinum-gleaming hair, hazel piercing eyes, and powerful body drew Joane in. No one else was present. Joane undressed and joined him. The result was that the following spring, Nerinoa was born. Joane remembers only the man's name: Lamruil.
Fate was not kind to Joane, however, and hard times tested her so that her means weren't enough, and Nerinoa had to go to the orphanage. Joane went on a pilgrimage to Sundabar, to the temple of Torm, to seek knowledge of justice. Joane, however, stayed on after that journey, met a wealthy man in Sundabar, Oscar Orsini, Baron of Newfort, and married him. Joane was also able to consider Nerinoa's fate, but by then the girl was no longer at the orphanage.
Joane moved with her husband to Newfort, and had another son (Newfort's heir), where they still live to this day.
Nerinoa Her father is Prince Lamruil Moonflower, heir to the elven kingdom of Evermeet.
