Adbar

Adbar is a massive mountain fortress. The fortress's visible portion — two spiked towers atop the mountain and the continuous column of smoke billowing between them — is only a small part of the fortress. Inside the mountain, tunnels wind for kilometers, all hand-carved.

Few, however, get to admire them. Adbar is extremely closed off. Most visitors are orcs. Trade, however, is vital to the dwarves, since there are many different goods the dwarves can't make or grow themselves. In exchange, they sell others vital iron and other ores, which are hard to obtain elsewhere.

Trade takes place in a small village that has grown up in front of Adbar's gates, where a certain number of humans live. The gates themselves, however, can't be entered except with special permission, which can be extremely difficult to obtain.
