Wulgreth

He is known to have once been a magic-user in Ascalhorn. He engaged in fierce competition with other magic-users, and eventually opened a gate to Baator in the city and summoned Asmodeus's demons to "help." The demons, however, corrupted Wulgreth, and the demons took control of Ascalhorn.
