Cold Wood

Cold Wood is an old, nearly untouched forest north of the Rauvin Mountains. The forest's southern reaches border the northernmost villages of the Order of the Eternal Fire. The forest contains the holiest site of the Uthgardt barbarians, Beorunna's Well.

At least two different barbarian tribes live in the forest. Besides them, the forest is known to hide old ruins within it. The northern parts of the forest are nearly untouched, and giants and large spiders are known to dwell there. The eastern part of Cold Wood was long ruled by the Lady, whom the people living in the area feared and respected but paid a terrible price for, sending their children into her care in exchange for favors and good fortune.
