Kayl Moorwalker

Chairman of the Everlund Council (First Elder) and commander of Everlund's army. One of Everlund's aristocrats, a haughty noble. He barely cares about the wellbeing of the common folk. An excellent tactician and highly intelligent.

He is a staunch supporter of the Silver Marches. In particular, he pushes for the establishment of a joint army, with which he wants to secure the upper reaches of the Rauvin River valley, where several aristocratic estates are located. He also wants the negotiations arranged so that Everlund gets proportionally more money from the shared pot than the other members. The one thing that really irks him in the negotiations is shared legislation that would also give the common folk a say against the aristocrats. Kayl isn't especially interested in the interests of merchants and guilds, but sometimes their interests align with his own.

He is often dressed in ornate plate armor, a beautiful blue cloak, and a fine longsword at his belt.

On the council, Kayl is a staunch opponent of Malvin. He also doesn't care for Borun or Sindyl, who in his view represent the common folk. Vaeril is practically his only ally on the Council.
